Chicco Bravo Trio Travel System
Who needs it?
The Chicco Bravo Trio Travel System is the ideal solution for parents looking for a travel system that easily transitions from car seat to stroller.
If you tend to travel from one place to another frequently, then this travel system is what you might need to make it a lot easier.
The Chicco Bravo Trio is designed to offer a great level of comfort for you and your baby, all thanks to its car seat that is easily removed and placed on the stroller frame with much fuss.
Overview
The Chicco Bravo Trio is a very popular travel system because it is budget-friendly.
It comes with a bunch of necessary features that come handy and useful, and also a car seat with a great level of safety.
This travel system is also one of the most affordable strollers on the market.
The Bravo Trio is designed for regular/everyday use but performs best on flat and smooth surfaces.
The suspension wheels absorb some of the bumps that you might encounter when pushing the stroller.
If you are looking for a travel system with a roomy seat, the Bravo Trio is one to consider.
The seat is deep and reclines to an almost flat position – it also has a well-padded adjustable handlebar. If you are a fan of large baskets at the bottom of strollers, then you will be delighted to find that the Bravo Trio has one with a decent size for storing your little one’s essentials.
PROS
• It is extremely easy to assemble
• Opening and closing the stroller takes little time

Chicco Bravo Trio Travel System Review
Maneuverability
The Bravo Trio is fitted with plastic tires (two 7″ front wheel and 9″ rear wheels).
The wheels are not air-filled so you can expect them to not be as smooth on a slightly bumpy surface like the air filled wheels that are on jogger strollers.
The wheels of this travel system are one of its low points simply because you can only get the best out of them on very smooth pavements and sidewalks.
This might not be much of a big deal as the stroller is generally easy to maneuver and get through narrow doorways.
If you intend to take your little one for a ride to the park (where the terrain is much bumpier than the pavement), then you really should consider an all-terrain stroller.
Another downside is that the wheels do look like they might be needing replacements over time, especially if you get to use it quite often.
The reason for this is quite understandable, as the wheels are specifically designed for flat surfaces.
The foot brake is easy to apply with the perfect amount of resistance; also, the stroller allows one hand push.
Folding and Storage
One thing you will immediately like about folding this stroller is that it has the standing fold feature.
You no longer have to worry about leaving your stroller lying on its side on the road.
Another great thing about the standing fold design is that you can easily store it in a corner in the house without taking much space.
The Bravo Trio weighs only 23 lbs., which means lifting it into the trunk of your cars is an easy task.
When folded, this stroller becomes compact with dimensions of 16″L x 22″H x 28″W, which is small enough to take up minimal space in the trunk of your car.
Car Seat
As far as travel systems are concerned, the Chicco Bravo Trio is a fantastic stroller for its price.
It is sold with a Chicco KeyFit 30 infant car seat, also, a car seat adapter and a car seat base.
As far as car seats are concerned, the Chicco KeyFit 30 remains one of the best on the market.
The Trio transforms into a stroller by simply placing the car seat right on top of the main seat (if you want) or you could simply remove the main seat then attach the car seat to the frame.
The downside with placing the car seat directly on the main seat is that it makes the stroller heavier.
Canopy
The Bravo Trio is fitted with a large 3-panel canopy that can be adjusted to suit whichever weather condition.
The size is great. It’s large enough to protect your little one from the sun’s ray’s as well as heavy gusts of winds.
However, the canopy would have been perfect if it came with a sun visor that can be popped in or out for better coverage.
For a budget travel system, the canopy is definitely great.
The canopy features a mesh peekaboo window but it lacks closure.
The downside of the canopy is that it does feel cheap, and it does make a discomforting clicking sound when you are adjusting it.
Safety
Like most strollers, the Bravo Trio comes with a standard 5-point harness.
The adjustable harness comes with a center release buckle which makes it very easy to undo.
What we really like about the harness on this travel system is that the shoulder and waist straps are connected in such a way, that you don’t need to “solve a puzzle” every time you strap your child in.
Conclusion
We recommend this stroller to any parent looking for an affordable travel system stroller that comes with all the necessary features.
There are several things about this stroller which makes it a solid competitor- the sleek design enhances its visual appeal just like high-end strollers.
The one hand folding and standing fold design is a huge plus.
Overall the Chicco Bravo Trio is generally a decent travel system stroller that offers great value.
